Welcome!

FACHC is a group of Christian, homeschooling families who work together to provide group classes in a variety of subjects for our children once a week. We meet on Friday mornings at St. John's Lutheran Church in Farmville, VA. We currently have classes during that time for children in PreK through middle school, but we hope to expand to include a teen class if there is enough interest. There is a membership fee, and parents will be expected to purchase the books and/or other supplies required for classes. A parent is required to stay on site, assist with cleaning and other tasks, and will have assigned teaching duties. We have a nursery for younger children while their moms are teaching. We also sometimes have field trips, Spelling Bees, or other optional activities. In order to join our group, potential new members must fill out an application form and be voted in by the group.

Vision

Our vision is to cooperatively enrich the education of our children by offering them a classroom experience in which they will enjoy educational and social experiences from a Christ-centered perspective. Our goal is to impart our knowledge, gifts, talents, and, most importantly, our love for the Lord Jesus Christ, to one another’s children.
